This week, the heavy-lift ship "Seaway Osprey" arrived in Norway with the hull of "REM Pioneer" on deck. The hull is Yard no. 82 at Myklebust Verft, in Gursken, Norway. Skipsteknisk AS is proud to announce that the company has been chosen as the designer of a new advanced oceanographic research vessel for the National Academy of Marine Research (NAMR) in Taiwan. Aurora Fisheries is part of the Solander Group. The newbuild is of ST-116XL design with a length of 80 m and a width of 15.4 m. The vessel will be built by Tersan Shipyard in Turkey and has been given build number 1124. The delivery time is in fourth quarter of 2025.

This week the launching of the new trawler of ST-119 design was successfully performed at Tersan Shipyard in Turkey. The new trawler will be named "Inuksuk II" and with a length of 80 m and a beam of 18 m become one of the largest arctic freezer trawlers in Canada. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for mid 2024.
